How quickly can you attend?
Actual lead times vary due to season and operative availability - we will endeavor to meet your expectations on a first come first serve basis.

Will there be any disruption to my property or day-to-day activities?
Minimal. Work is carried out quietly and discreetly using sub-FAC air rifles — no loud reports, no large crews, no heavy equipment. Most jobs are completed with little to no disruption to staff, livestock, or visitors on site.

What happens to the carcasses?
Disposal is carried out on the landowner's land, typically via burial, unless an alternative method is specifically requested.

Do you follow biosecurity protocols?
Yes — Virkon S, the industry-standard DEFRA-approved disinfectant, is used on footwear between sites to prevent cross-contamination. Where dogs are used for retrieval, paws are also disinfected between sites — important reassurance for farms, equestrian yards, and livestock premises.

Will this attract attention or cause concern to neighbours/the public?
No — this is precisely where sub-FAC air rifles are the right tool: quiet operation, short safe zones, and low visibility mean work can be carried out discreetly, close to buildings and public areas, without alarming neighbours or passers-by. Vetted, ex-military operatives following a formal risk assessment further reduce any concern around safety or conduct.

Yes — as standard practice, Essex Police are informed in advance of scheduled work involving airgun use, particularly in areas with public visibility. This ensures full transparency, avoids any misunderstanding or unnecessary reports from members of the public, and reflects the same disciplined, procedure-led approach applied to every job. That is done by us prior to the operations commencing, without any inconvenience to the landowner.
