Drone-based surveys and imagery
As part of our land assessment and survey services, we may use a CAA-registered drone (operated under a valid A2 Certificate of Competency) to capture aerial optical imagery and footage of the property being assessed.
-
Drone flights are conducted in line with UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations, including maintaining appropriate distance from uninvolved people, vehicles, and neighbouring properties wherever possible.
-
Imagery is used solely for the purpose of the land assessment, survey, or pest/wildlife management service requested, and is shared only with the client unless otherwise agreed.
-
Where drone footage incidentally captures identifiable third parties (e.g. neighbouring land, passers-by) who have not directly engaged our services, that footage is used only for the purpose of the assessment and is not published or shared without a legitimate reason.
-
Drone imagery is retained only as long as necessary for the service provided and associated record-keeping, then securely deleted.
-
Our drone is optical only — no thermal imaging capability is fitted to the drone.
If you have concerns about drone footage affecting your property, please contact us directly.
